Who are we?
Meet the team
Jeroen - owner Vormz
Jeroen is the founder of Vormz's success. He is a true 3D expert. Want advice on techniques, materials or design? Feel free to contact him. Jeroen is responsible for technology and sales of our products and services. He prefers to eat sushi.
Roel - owner Vormz
Roel is the oldest of the bunch. So a lot of experience. Roel is a real entrepreneur and owns Vormz together with Jeroen. Besides the daily operation of the printers he is also responsible for purchasing, finances and internal processes. He prefers to eat delicious Italian pasta.
Stijn - employee Vormz
Stijn is a bright student who helps us finish 3D printed products. Stijn also has a 3D printer at home, a real enthusiast. He prefers to eat pasta pesto chicken.
Bram - employee Vormz
Bram prepares certain print jobs at Vormz. He is a true techie and has been 3D printing for more than 10 years. Bram eats almost everything but plastic. This is unlike many other employees.

Meet our machine family
Robert
Robert has been working with his Ultimaker cousins at Vormz for nearly 10 years. Robert and his cousins work 6 days a week. They work really hard and never complain. They do need some maintenance from time to time but then just get back to printing. Real toppers. They prefer to eat plastic as long as it's on a spool as filament.
Laurence
Laurence is a real runner. He and his brothers are super fast and have been working at Vormz since the summer of 2023. They print 2-3 times faster than Robert and Julia. And despite that, they still just work 6 days a week. These guys know how to run a lot of production by working hard. Bizarre how much plastic these guys know how to spit out into beautiful products. And they also eat a lot of plastic.
Adam
Adam works with his brothers at Vormz. These guys are real powerhouses. They produce a lot of great products including many machine parts in SLS. What they print is really incredibly sturdy. They are a bit lazy because after 18 hours of printing they are entitled to a 12-hour cooling down period. But that makes sense because they get 180 degrees while working anyway. The Fuse brothers only eat PA12. A nylon powder.
Vincent
Vincent produces from resins. He drinks all day SLA resins and make insanely beautiful products. Very smooth. Ideal for prototyping. He prefers to drink Resins from Formlabs.
Maikel
Maikel is a fully automated blasting booth and likes to work under high pressure. At 4 bars Maikel blasts every sls printed product completely clean with polybeads. Where previously human colleagues had to work hard to get all products clean Maikel does metal in 12 minutes. He prefers to eat polybeads.
Bert
Bert makes sure everything goes smoothly. This drum makes 3D printed products super smooth with the sliding grinding technique. Bert works with us 8 hours a day, makes a little noise but delivers nice quality. He prefers to eat medium to get the products smooth
Freddy
Freddy is our compressor. He very much likes to work together with Maikel. Because alone is just alone. This guy just blows air. An airy type. He's a hothead though because he blows hot air at 85 degrees.
Peter
Peter is our tinting machine for making SLS products beautifully black. He is not a quick starter because before he starts anything he has to warm up for an hour but can then provide products with a nice deep black color in 45 minutes. Peter prefers to drink water with dye.
Simon
Simon is a Sift machine to initially strip the SLS printed products of most of the powder. A manual process that Jeroen, Roel or Stijn spend the necessary time with. Once the product has been to Simon it goes on to Maikel. Simon preferably PA12 Nylon powder.

3D expertise in a family business
Vormz is a family owned company with office and production location in Ede, the Netherlands. We have been working with an established partner in materials and hardware for many years. When we started our company we were one of the first in the Netherlands to offer printing services through desktop 3D printers. Over the years we have built up a lot of knowledge to answer your specific questions.
We started our 3D service in 2013 with 3D printing and 3D designing. A few years after that, we expanded our services to include 3D scanning. In 2020, we introduced 3D printing with Ultra FDM. And in 2021, we launched another new printing technique, SLS printing, with a new state-of-the-art Fuse1 printer.
Until March 20, 2020, we operated under the name 3dprinting4you.

3D map of an Egyptian temple
Vormz created a 3D map of an Egyptian temple for us, for a new tour created for people with visual impairments. The floor plan allows our guide to explain how a temple was constructed and how the Egyptians used the rooms. The contact was very pleasant and fast and the end result is even better than we had hoped for! We are extremely happy with it.

SLA printing at Vormz
We contacted Vormz to print several prototypes. These were printed using the SLA technique. The accuracy and finish of the product were perfect and also had good dimensional accuracy. The communication with Vormz was excellent and he also gave good explanations about the printing method. Our parts were printed in such a way that the highest accuracy could be achieved. Definitely recommended for prototyping!
Printing at Vormz I can only recommend
I was looking for a 3D printing service where I could test some printing techniques for prototyping. Also some individual parts for production work. I found at Vormz a smooth service and plenty of options. Short lines, very nice. Thanks for thinking with me and the fast service!
