Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is one of the techniques we at Vormz are really excited about. With our Fuse 1 printers, nylon powder is fused layer by layer by a powerful laser, which heats the grains until they form one strong whole. The result is a durable and sturdy end product, without the need for supporting structures. Thanks to SLS, we have tremendous design freedom and can 3D print virtually any shape.
Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) is a 3D printing technique where the material is built up layer by layer. The base material for an FDM printer is filament, a plastic thread that is heated and fused during the process. The major advantage of FDM printing is its versatility. There is a wide choice of materials and colors, including PLA, ABS, Nylon, bronzefill and wood.
Stereolithography(SLA) is a 3D printing technique that excels in precision and surface quality. The product is built from a resin (liquid) that is cured with a laser. This results in a very smooth and sturdy final product.
This technique is suitable for 3D printing of industrial products. In addition, SLA is widely used within the dental and medical fields.
Ultra FDM is a 3D printing technology that works the same way as Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM). The difference is that this technique allows us to print with ultra polymers. These high-quality plastics can withstand extreme conditions and resist heat, flame, high pressure and chemical liquids.
Our experts in 3D printing assist your company throughout the entire process. From your idea, we create a plan to achieve a perfect final product. We help, when necessary, with the design. Choose the right technique and material. And get to work on your order right away!

Are there limitations on the size of objects you can print?
The maximum print size is based on the 3D printing technique. If a product cannot be printed in one go, there are two options. The first is to split it up and the second is to look at another 3D printing technique.

What does 3D printing cost?
The costs for 3D printing depend on the 3D printing technique, size, material and quantities. Curious about the prices per 3D printing technique? Check out our quote & order page!
What materials and colors can be used in 3D printing?
This varies by technique, but the basis is always a digital design! 3D printing materials are available in an awful lot of colors. So a 3D object can certainly be printed in color as well.

How long does it take to complete a 3D printing job?
This depends entirely on quantities and printing technology. Our standard delivery time is 5-7 working days. For large quantities we also do partial deliveries.
When placing a rush order, it is wise to contact us by phone. That way it is possible to discuss the possibilities. To check if we can deliver urgently, we do need a 3D file in the format: STP, STL, OBJ or 3MF.
What kind of things can you 3D print?
Almost anything can be accomplished with 3D printing! Some well-known applications include:
But really, nothing is too crazy for 3D printing!
What file formats do you accept for 3D printing job submission?
3D printing requires a digital 3D model from a 3D drawing or CAD package and saved as an STL, 3MF, STEP or DWG file.
Do you only have a sketch? Then we can convert it to a digital design.
Is only plastic used for 3D printing?
No, certainly not. Plastic is the most commonly used material for 3D printing. But which 3D material is chosen depends on the requirements of the final product and the printing technique used.
For example, in addition to plastic, liquid and materials such as wood and bronzefill are also used in 3D printing. Although the latter two mentioned also contain a small portion of plastic.

Can I 3D print my company logo?
3D printing your company logo is definitely possible! In fact, we have already done this for several companies. Usually this is requested as part of a product. Then the logo is printed inside the product.
But the logo can also be printed per letter in 3D. Up to 40cm x 40cm in size per letter. Ideal for wall mounting, on the counter or in the shop window. For example, we have printed our own logo. This has been given a place in our shop window and has become 2 meters long in total.
What types of businesses are using 3D printing?
3D printing is used and applied by all kinds of companies and organizations.
But it is especially widely used by startups and manufacturing companies. For startups, it is a relatively inexpensive way to produce prototypes or finished products. For manufacturing companies, it is an alternative form of producing the products and their components.

Can I modify or change my 3D printed object after it has been ordered?
What stages of the 3D printing process can I contact Vormz for?
Companies can come to us for every stage of the 3D printing process. We support design, scanning and reverse engineering to create a suitable 3D design. Then we produce the desired product with precision and speed.
We help realize prototypes, finished products, molds, models and other 3D objects you need for your business. We also offer various post-processing methods, currently mainly focused on SLS printing. We apply techniques such as tumbling, coloring, polyshot and vaporsmooth to refine the final result.

Clear communication, easy online ordering process and very high quality.
Very satisfied with the final result of the 3d model.
Along with this, get well informed about the shipping process.
Came to them for making 3D sketch and a prototype, to eventually vacuum casting a product.
In the end, 3D printing turned out to be just as good, and in terms of price, it's close.
That's why we now have products 3D printed there to our satisfaction.
Beautiful quality and super detailed.
We were well helped by Jeroen and Roel and will definitely come back next time!
